The medical examiner’s office has completed its investigation into Takeoff’s death.
Takeoff died from “penetrating gunshot wounds of head and chest into arm,” according to the Harris County Medical Examiner. According to TMZ, the office appears to have completed its investigation because Takeoff’s body is ready for collection for funeral services.
The artist was shot numerous times, killing him instantly. Many musicians, including Drake, have expressed their sorrow at his untimely death.
After a reported fight between two groups of individuals, Takeoff was shot outside Billiards & Bowling in Houston. According to the films that have surfaced, Takeoff was not participating in the altercation at all and was hit as a consequence of a stray bullet.
