“Look What You Created” is a very ambitious first step for these two new collaborators, combining TyC’s huge arrangement aesthetic with Curly’s endless melodic and rhythmic versatility. The explosive first record, “100 Rounds was reposted by Adam22 of Nojumper who recently reached out and said Curly Chuck is definitely one to watch! The next record, “Get It” is fully sampled from MacOS and iPhone stock sounds. Curly Chuck’s sound dominates the horn-driven drop, derived from the mac “delete sound” and his flow winds perfectly through the unorthodox verses. The last two make up the dark final instalment of the record, in which Curly highlights his darker nature by allowing us to experience some of the violence that created him and how it allowed him to grow beyond himself. The video is a combination of the last two songs, “In Violence” and “Look What You Created” and is a perfect step into Curly’s world; filled with dualities and alternate endings.
Together they embarked on creating a trap sound that was heavily influenced by grunge/death metal. Curly Chuck’s sound dominates the 808 driven drops and his flow winds perfectly through the electro-driven verses. TyC recorded, produced, mixed and mastered the project and they are excited to release it on the 23rd, on Black Friday with this self-entitled video. They are carving a path for their own sound and they’re combining aspects of all genres to create this edgy futuristic direction and if one’s things for sure, these two are going to be full of surprises. They are currently working on a folk album, and a more straight-ahead trap ep for 2019 so stay tuned, it’s going to be a crazy year!
