From North to South, Detroit to Fort Worth, hip-hop to gospel, you’d have to delve deep into American history to find an obvious connection between these two artists. But on “Liberated,” DeJ and Leon bridge the gap (pardon the pun) in freeing and uplifting fashion.
“Liberated” is the title track off DeJ Loaf’s upcoming — and long awaited — debut album, while Leon Bridges recently dropped his critically acclaimed sophomore LP Good Thing.
