Watch Derek Wise’s New Visual For “Runnin’ It” Off His “Glam Wave EP”.
Though he just dropped his EP Glam Wave last month, Toronto’s Derek Wise is already back with some fresh new material for his fans and followers. One of the songs from the EP, “Runnin It,” gets a visual treatment courtesy of noted director Zac Facts, who recently directed Tory Lanez’s “Diego” video. The moody settings provide a perfect visual accompaniment to Wise’s defiant raps and Geoff Wood’s sulky production. In addition to the video, Wise has also dropped three Glam Wave bonus tracks — “Free Up” and “Opinions,” produced by Urs Truli, and “Glam” produced by Tommy Kruise.
Toronto’s Derek Wise returns with the ghostly cinematic video to his single, “Runnin It'” directed by Zac Facts. With the anticipation building for Derek’s debut project he also releases three new additions to last month’s “GLAM WAVE” EP/Playlist.
“Free Up” is an ambient track, Derek’s melodic approach vocally floats across the production by Urs Truli.
“Glam” is produced by Tommy Kruise, serving as the perfect soundtrack to Derek’s wave of all things Glamorous.
“Opinions” is an appropriate track dedicated to rising above the opinion of others. Another personal record, Derek addresses real life ups and downs while giving advice to the listeners proclaiming, “Stop overthinking, JUST BE YOU.”
