Devenny & Bathwater 404 “Dayson” Video

Devenny and Bathwater 404 release a new video for “Dayson”, a track off the upcoming project ‘Paradise Drive’ set for release on 25th September.

The video, directed by Devenny 404 and Ben Hughes, whose ongoing creative partnership operates under the moniker SAMBU, was inspired by Ben Wheatley’s ‘A Field In England’ and the work of Terrence Malik. Filmed at a deserted castle in the South of England, it is the first visual representation of the many character studies found on ‘Paradise Drive’, all of which are explorations of different facets of Devenny 404’s personality.

This cinematic approach is evident throughout the project. Cryptic lyrics tackling addiction, loss, depersonalisation and anxiety, paired with Bathwater’s expansive production, take the listener on a vivid journey via eclectic soundscapes and atmospheres, through the pair’s hometown of Eastbourne and their experiences growing up there.
