Diddy has been arrested at the University of California, Los Angeles a few hours ago after he got into a fight with a football coach and reportedly swung on him with a kettlebell. The incident happened following his son’s training. The mogul was taken into custody and is currently locked at L.A. County jail.

On Monday, June 22nd, The Bad Boy leader attended his son’s football practice – Justin Combs is a defensive back on the team – where Strength and Conditioning Coach Sal Alosi was screaming at the player on the field, TMZ reports. Puffy was watching the whole thing from the sideline and then visited the coach in his office and grabbed him.

Law enforcements later reported Sean Combs attacked Alosi with a kettlebell weight. According to TMZ, when he walked inside the office, the coach was speaking on the phone and told him to hang on. Puff wasn’t having any of it, picked the kettlebell and swung on him. Luckily, he narrowly missed him.

Sources close to Diddy reveal different version of the disputable events and state it was self-defense. The mogul claims it all started on Sunday when Alosi was too hard on his son and told him not to come back until the end of the summer. Diddy wanted to speak to him but when he arrived at the campus he was told to leave. When he finally met Alosi, the coach told him he will call security. Sean responded he is going to call police, Alosi reportedly lost it and got at him. Diddy admits he grabbed a kettlebell, but just to hold it in a defensive position, not to attack the aggressor.

Head Coach Jim Mora issued a statement on the incident.

I’m thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation. This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time.

Diddy has been arrested for assault. He was held in custody at campus jail before he got transported to L.A. County jail. He has been charged with 3 counts of assault with deadly weapon, 1 count of making terrorist threats and 1 count of battery, according to Sports Center.

In the meantime, his industry foe 50 Cent took to Instagram to clown Sean.
