Diddy, Dr, Dre and Jay Z top the forbes list.
Diddy is still wealthier than Dr. Dre. Today, Forbes unveiled with their Hip-Hop’s Wealthiest Artists 2015 list and surprisingly, the Aftermath legend is not topping it. Despite his massive Apple deal, Dre remains second with $700 million, while Puffy is in the lead with $735 million. The latter’s money-making ventures include his Ciroc vodka, interests in fashion brands Sean John and Enyce, alkaline water brand Aquahydrate, new DeLeon tequila and multimedia network Revolt.
The third spot is reserved for Jay Z, who is worth $550 million. 50 Cent makes a return in the top 5 with $155 million thanks to his SMS headphones, Effen vodka and Frigo underwear deals. Birdman closes the top 5 with $150 million and a nasty $51 million legal battle following him everywhere. Congrats to all of the leading moguls in the hip-hop industry!
