Fluent – Fall in Love Feat. Swift

LA-based, North Carolina native, Fluent shares his new track “Fall in Love”. This one features Swift (a/k/a Young Swift, Epic Records signee), and is an R&B/Rap hybrid produced by Flu’s longtime collaborator, J. Cardim. Given that Flu and Cardim have a number of hits to their name to date—peep “Make It” or “The Bed,” if you haven’t yet—it should come as no surprise that “Fall in Love” follows that same path while offering a new sonic twist from the two frequent collaborators. It’s a more melodic and R&B-indebted turn from Flu, who sounds great teaming up with the Epic Records signee, Swift.

WOULF – Tidal Wave

This record started out as a piece for a local collaborative mixtape in my city, hosted by DJ Coop and produced by MiZZHitZBeatZ. The record became such a hit with the people in my city, I decided to push this as a single on the road to my tape. The session I had for it was so slick, It was packed in the studio hella people, bottles, weed, food all that. I picked the beat and I went 1st. recording just the first verse and the hook. I came back later in the week and dropped off the 2nd verse. S/o Antoine Christopher with “The Arcade” That’s what I call the studio. a whole bunch of game posters that cover the wall, and it feels like home.

Louis III – Goosebumps

After a brilliant reception to debut ‘Fever Thoughts’ Louis III is back to reveal newest single Goosebumps. With only one release under his belt so far which dropped in November, the year is definitely shaping up to be one to remember for Louis. Already garnering support from heavy hitters like BBC’s 1Xtra and Fever Thoughts being included in BBC Introducing’s Track of the Week, this next single is due to propel Louis onto even more radars and playlists than his debut.

Louis says on his new single, “Goosebumps is about when you can’t get enough of someone, and what they do to you physically and mentally. The song was written quickly – in about 30 minutes – I think cause I knew exactly what I wanted to say, how I wanted the track to make me feel, and who the song was about.”

South Londoner Louis draws his influences from the culture clash of sounds he was exposed to growing up; everything from his parent’s record collection (Bob Marley, Leonard Cohen, and BB King to name a few) to credible beat driven pop he listens to (The XX, Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Major Lazer, and Drake) are areas he draws from to create his unique sound.

XamVolo – Lose Love

London UK, Rising Neo-Soul polymath XamVoloreleases new single Lose Love, the first track to be taken from his upcoming debut EP A DAMN FINE SPECTACLE.

Written and produced by XamVolo during sessions in LA alongside heavyweight producer Freddie Joachim (J Cole, Aloe Blacc, Joey Bada$$), Lose Love’s bouncing groove opens up the EP. Released via Universal on the 13th April, A Damn Fine Spectacle is an inventive concept EP and serves as a teasing distillation of what is to be explored on his forthcoming debut album, All The Sweetness on the Surface.

A testament to XamVolo’s cinematic method of creating worlds within his music, across four songs, it tells a neo-noir story of a young girl who finds herself confronted with a hive containing a black honey substance, (which XamVolo has named ‘Slaize’) that can grant her every desire.

XamVolo explains “Everybody wants something, whether it’s money, power, justice, a clean slate, or a new pair of shoes. Some people would go to great lengths to acquire the things they want, but whenever there’s an easier option available, most people would rather save themselves the hassle. This EP [and the album to follow] are all about the nature of our desires. When someone is told of this black honey – of an easy way to obtain everything they’ve ever wanted – their curiosity is piqued.”

Mozado & Rosé – Too Thirsty Feat. Kyle Bent

Producers Mozado teams up with Rose and Kyle Bent on the new song “Too Thirsty.”

“Rosé’s vocals were originally recorded to and centered around a Latin type beat. I eventually realized the beat wasn’t doing Rose’s piercing personality justice and began to lean more towards hip-hop. It came to a point where it was obvious the right rapper would go opposite Rosé perfectly, and I knew just who to turn to from my hometown. Kyle hit the nail on the head and the rest seemed to fall right into place.” – Mozado
