DJ Khaled Releases His Anticipated Drake Single “For Free”
The year 2016 might belong to both DJ Khaled and Drake. With their individual stardom reaching new heights, the DJ/producer and Canadian rapper join forces once again for another heater. Following their past summer collaborations “I’m On One” (2011) and “No New Friends” (2013), the tandem return with the single “(F*ck Me) For Free.” Serving as the lead record off DJ Khaled’s forthcoming Major Key LP due later this year, the track samples Too $hort’s “Blow The Whistle,” produced by OVO Sound hitmakers Nineteen85 and Jordan Ullman of Majid Jordan.
Speaking with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio during the premiere of “For Free,” DJ Khaled revealed some news about his Major Key album. The 12-track LP will feature confirmed appearances from Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne, Rick Ross, Bryson Tiller, Big Sean, and the collaboration by JAY Z and Future titled “I Got The Keys.”
