Cultures clash as unique Cross-Atlantic collab drops with new visuals – Shot in Jamaica, London, New York and Toronto ‘Special Delivery’ sees DJ Power enlist Vybz Kartel, SL, Junior Reid, NoJokeJigsaw and Scrilla collab on this crossover rap track with an island flavour.
‘Special Delivery’ sees award winning DJ/producer, DJ Power team up with legendary Dancehall star Vybz Kartel, top UK Drill rapper SL and reggae legend Junior Reid on this Dancehall infused Drill anthem.The track also features rising Toronto rapper NojokeJigsaw and Brooklyn drill rapper Scrilla Hef who give this even more of a cross-Atlantic vibe.
Shot in Jamaica, New York, London and Toronto, the video was directed by Kieran Khan (Cardi B’s official tour videographer) known for past videos with Sean Paul, Yendry and Buju Banton’s ‘Trust’.
The visuals feature rappers SL, NoJokeJigsaw and Scrilla Hef delivering fire-spitting verses from their respective cities over the infectious Dub-Drill beat. The storyline takes place in Jamaica where a shipment goes missing and a Drug lord blames his worker leading him on a journey to find a way to get out of his situation, all while being relentlessly pursued. Vybz Kartel stamps this with his catchy Special Delivery hook while a painter creates a live mural of the World Boss which eventually becomes animated.
