Legendary rapper DMX is allegedly in ICU after a drug overdose.
UPDATE:
Sources close to the rapper told TMZ, the OD occurred at his home at around 11 PM and triggered an heart attack.
DMX was rushed to a hospital in White Plains, New York and is in the critical care unit. We’re told he has “some brain activity.” Another source says he’s in a “vegetative state” and doctors have cautioned he may not make it.
Some are reporting he is already dead and some are reporting that he’s currently brain dead in a vegetable state but We do not have any concrete information to confirm this.
Longtime friend and collaborator Swizz Beatz also put up an old photo of him and DMX earlier in the morning but later deleted it. Rapper Rick Ross also took to his instagram story to send some prayers to DMX before playing some of his hits while riding in the back seat of his car..
