Canada-based artist DomLand makes a powerful return with ‘Dipped In Black’, her first release since 2023, a deeply personal EP created in honour of her late partner, who passed away while she was pregnant. The three-track project is an unfiltered expression of grief, strength, and soulful resilience.
Opening with the stirring ‘Distance’, DomLand’s commanding vocal delivery meets driving percussion and emotive basslines, a moving meditation on love that transcends circumstance. ‘Legacy’ continues the journey with ethereal melodies and heartfelt lyricism before closing with ‘Written in Stars’, a graceful reflection that ties the project together with quiet power.
Speaking on the release, DomLand shares: “This project honours my late partner, Dip Black… creating this music became a therapeutic way to process grief and transform it into something lasting.”
