Don Toliver shares new album ‘Life Of A Don.’
Before his Life of a Don album, you wouldn’t have been completely wrong to call Don Toliver a protégé of Cactus Jack label head Travis Scott, but that’s a long way from how the Houston MC wants to be remembered. “Cactus Jack as a whole helped me, but with this album in particular I did a lot of creative control,” Toliver told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe ahead of the release of Life of a Don. “Which makes me very proud of this album in particular, because I just went full-fledged Don mode and just took it upon myself to try to make this album as best as I could.”
