The anticipation rises each day as Drake’s long-awaited Views From the 6 album is near. After announcing his fourth solo LP would arrive in April, the Toronto rapper took to OVO Sound Radio on Saturday (Apr. 9) to reveal its full release date.
…..
Appearing on the Beats 1 show this weekend as October Firm (his duo with OVO co-founder Oliver El-Khatib), Drake announced Views From the 6 will hit stores on April 29. The album will serve as a follow-up to Drizzy’s platinum-selling 2013 album Nothing Was the Same.
To this point, the Canadian artist has released the songs “Summer Sixteen,” plus the singles “Pop Style” featuring Jay Z and Kanye West, and “One Dance” with WizKid and Kyla.
UPDATE: Drake drops a new promo ad for the album, which appears to now be only titled VIEWS. Drizzy also confirms the project will be an Apple Music exclusive (a tweet he soon deleted after).
