Drake Drops Off A New Single “Nice For What” + Video

Listen and watch Drake’s new video for “Nice For What.”

Drake is a man of his word. Just 24 hours ago, Drizzy appeared as a surprise guest at the final stop of Majid Jordan’s North American tour, at Toronto’s REBEL nightclub. The 6 God announced a new single would arrive Friday night and that his 5th studio album is nearly finished. One day later, the Canadian superstar keeps his promise, releasing the song “Nice For What.” Produced by Murda Beatz, the track samples Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill classic “Ex-Factor.” The record was previously teased by Ms. Hill’s son, who posted a snippet of the song (then called “Showin’ Off”) on social media. “Nice For What” serves as a follow-up to Drake’s “God’s Plan,” the record-breaking smash-hit that has spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Along with the new record, Drake drops the empowering music video directed by Karena Evans. The visual features an all-star cast of leading ladies including Olivia Wilde, Misty Copeland, Issa Rae, Rashida Jones, Jourdan Dunn, Tracee Ellis Ross, Tiffany Haddish, Yara Shahidi, Zoe Saldana, The Lejonhjarta Twins, Letitia Wright, Bria Vinaite, Emma Roberts, SYD and Michelle Rodriguez. Drake’s untitled 5th solo LP is expected to arrive later this year. Out now on iTunes and Apple Music, stream the 6 God’s new soulful offering below.
