Every week it seems Drake is setting a new mark and reshuffling the record books. This week, the 6 God’s “MIA” collaboration with Bad Bunny debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. With that, Drake earned his 12th Hot 100 top 10 record in 2018, surpassing The Beatles for the most top 10s by any act in a single year. Lead by three solo number one records this year (“God’s Plan,” “Nice For What,” “In My Feelings”), Drake also earned top 10 records with BlocBoy JB (“Look Alive”), Lil’ Baby (“Yes Indeed”), and Migos (“Walk It Talk It”).
The Beatles held the previous record after the group landed 11 records in the top 10 during their breakout year in 1964. Their record six No. 1s in 1964 still remains, as well as their 10 top five hits in that same year.
