Drake, the music industry’s heavyweight, has finally broken his summer silence with a bombshell of a single, “Slime You Out,” featuring the enchanting SZA.
Co-produced by a dream team consisting of Drake himself, Noel Cadastre, Dalton Tennant, Noah “40” Shebib, and BNYX®, this track is Drake’s ode to the ladies despite their sometimes ungrateful ways.
In “Slime You Out,” Drizzy croons, “Ayy, this ain’t the litest, I could get on you bitches / Send wires on wires on wires, like Idris / You lucky that I don’t take back what was given / I could have you on a payment plan ’til you’re a hundred and fifty.”
SZA matches the vibe with her own fiery verse, venting about an unfaithful subject. “And I ain’t even comin’ over it now / And you ain’t ’bout the shit you rapping about / And I can spin the ho, I’m airing it out / I’m goin’ on like it’s sawed off,” she passionately sings.
“Slime You Out” marks the first-ever collaboration between these two incredible artists and follows Drake’s previous hit, “Search & Rescue.” Both tracks are set to appear on Drake’s highly anticipated eighth studio album, “For All The Dogs,” scheduled for release on September 22.
With this scorching release, Drake and SZA have not only reignited the summer but also set the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable album drop. Mark your calendars, because “For All The Dogs” is coming, and “Slime You Out” is just a taste of the magic these artists have in store.
