OVO’s Own Dvsn Drops “Let’s Get It On” Tribute.
More than four decades after Marvin Gaye released “Let’s Get It On,” OVO Sound’s dvsn revamps the classic. On Monday (Apr. 4), the mysterious math symbol released its latest tribute on SoundCloud.
This version takes its lyrics from Gaye’s sensual classic. Adding underwater vibes that OVO has become famous for, dvsn is able to give the cut a modern Toronto twist.
“Let’s Get It On” isn’t the only track dvsn has remixed recently. The act, who dropped its debut Sept. 5th late last month, also released a mash-up of Aaliyah’s “One in a Million” and Prince’s “Purple Rain.”
