As one of the most prominent voices from the Jungle and Drum N Bass world, Dynamite MC announces therelease of ‘World of Dynamite’, a huge 30-track collection of classic and previously unheard material, spanning the realms of Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop, Breaks & Garage.
Featuring productions from some of the most celebrated and iconic producers, including Roni Size, High Contrast, Dj Zinc, Andy C, Danny Byrd, Zed Bias & Wookie, the album is a testimony to Dynamite MC’s twenty-year music legacy.
From the late nineties to early noughties, Dynamite MC won the Mercury Music Prize, a Q Award and a MOBO as part of Drum & Bass act ‘Reprazent’ breeding a successful and lengthy career that continues to see him work with the most influential and exciting labels and producers. With multiple releases on Hospital Records, featuring on tracks with Netsky, Metrik & Nu Tone,collaborations with DJ Zinc, Dyro, Friction, Andy C (plus too many others to mention), to shows with Sigma, Wilkinson, Roni Size and Krafty Kuts. Dynamite MC is a master of reinvention and maintains his position as one of the mostsought after emcees.
Featuring classics‘Ride’ and ‘Bounce’ (featured on E.A Games ‘Need For Speed: Carbon’), the track list boasts 13 previously unreleased gems. Introductory track ‘Choices’ is packed with energy and delivers an old school garage flavor, reminiscent of the period when garage blurred the lines and grime was born. Production courtesy of the master; Wookie, the track was born in the noughties and with some careful re-working for a 2015 release, remains as flavoursome and current as the day it was created!
