As we’re seeing become a trend with many rappers, Fat Joe had to face the tax man and ended up pleading guilty to tax evasion, and he was aware that jail time was a possibility.  Now the judge has handed out the sentence and it looks like Joe will be serving time behind bars.

Although Joey Crack resides in Miami, he was prosecuted in New Jersey because of certain business dealings he has there, and now he will serve four months in prison for tax evasion.  Real name, Joseph Cartegena, had plead guilty to failing to pay taxes for somewhere in the neighborhood of one and three million dollars in earnings for the years of 2007 and 2008, which is estimated at costing the government around $750,000.

When you fail to pay nearly three quarter million dollars to the U.S. there are going to be repercussions.
