Femi Jaye releases his afrobeats inspired album “Gardener”
On the album, Femi also known as “Flower boy femi” shows off his creativity and honesty as he opens up about his feelings that he can be vulnerable and that same vulnerability can blossom into the beautiful flower which is this project.
Gardener is full of sensual, flavoursome music, yet also laced with glamours celebratory records that embrace the euphoria of love. The album is broken up into two sides. The “Dawn Garden” (track 1-5) and the “Twilight Garden” (track 7-11) with track 6 “magic” being the bridge between the two. Two gardens, two feelings, two experiences with one gardener watching over and maintaining it all.
Inspired by modern afrobeat’s, the soundcloud soulection era and alternative hip/hop and rnb Femi has crafted a sound unique to him, full of past memories, future mistakes and textured vulnerability that isn’t commonly displayed in this “Andrew tate” era of toxic masculinity.
