FHAT continue their openly sensual adventures with second single, ONATD. The track aptly stands for ‘one night at the disco’ which connects a mountain of releases to come, stimulated by their two-year travels. Enchanted by Berlins magnetic drag club culture and queer nights galore, FHAT knew it was time to start releasing their own tunes.
FHAT are the brand-new vocal duo made up by two New York native singer-songwriters’ Aaron and Sedric. After cultivating their sound, an epic summer of releases started with the seamless and saucy debut, Pleasure. This pair are clearly inspired by the likes of Outkast, SZA, NERD, Lizzo, Mura Masa, H.E.R. and Ty Dolla $ign. FHAT’s first musical expedition came after flaunting their mellifluous harmonies that featured on Fabich and Jafunk’s Back to Life. Soon the guys were keen to unveil the first of their original works.
Deepening their connection to the club scene, this second single ONATD is held together by the individual prowess of FHAT, not forgetting their deliciously dulcet tones. The lingering and dream-like introduction lures you into a somewhat dark carnal and passionate affair, with a hint of trap and a nod of bass. One Night at the Disco is a mysterious track full of carefree nights, groove-laden dance floors and of course, some frivolities ensured when you party such an extravagant pair. FHAT’s new single throws them onto the scene as fresh and upcoming writers, who are keen to showcase their current take on the smoothest of R&B.
