East London UK rapper and producer Franklyn shares the new visual for his track “A13,” off his recent Archives EP
Interpolating Gospel track “Melodies from Heaven” onto a Hip-Hop canvas, Franklyn delivers a stream of lyrical consciousness. Commenting on London’s youth violence epidemic, he expresses his thoughts, positioning himself as the ‘ghetto Wilfred Owen’, the block’s Dickens’ while driving through London’s city streets and quiet rural roads.
One of the brightest up and coming artists of the year (confidentially Apple Music’s Ryan Newman is already very excited about him), Franklyn is already selling out shows independently, selling limited-run zines showcasing his own photography. A truly remarkable, multi-talented young artist, he’s also due to release a book about Grime via by Jacaranda Publishing.
