Freddie Gibbs unleashes new video for the track “Andrea.”
Freddie Gibbs takes us even further inside his head in his new video for “Andrea,” one of the more reflective cuts off his latest album You Only Live Twice. In similar fashion to his “Crushed Glass” video, the Eric Nelson-directed clip finds Gangsta Gibbs cruising through the California hills (which just so happen to be on fire — a metaphor you can probably figure out for yourself) before he wakes up inside a cell to realize it was all a dream. Of course, Freddie spent three uncertain — and by the sounds of it, unpleasant — months in European jails on sexual assault charges last summer before being acquitted in September.
