The wait is over. Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist have officially dropped their long-anticipated joint album Alfredo 2, available now on all platforms.
Arriving alongside the project is the cinematic visual for lead single “1995”, directed by Nick Walker. Set in Japan, the video follows Gibbs and Alchemist operating a ramen shop as a front for Yakuza dealings — a stylish and gritty visual that sets the tone for the album’s noir-leaning aesthetic.
With razor-sharp bars and Alchemist’s masterful production, Alfredo 2 is a bold sequel to their 2020 Grammy-nominated classic Alfredo — and it’s already sounding like another modern-day rap milestone.
