Despite MC4 already leaking in it’s entirety a few weeks back, French Montana is continuing the album roll out like nothing happened.
Originally set to arrive on August 19th, the fourth installment of French’s Mac & Cheese series was pushed back due to “sample clearance” issues. Or, at least that’s what he said. But it’s kind of hard to believe when hard copies of the album were already distributed to stores the week of it’s intended release — which caused the leak in the first place.
So, just so we’re all clear: MC4 didn’t arrive on time because sample issues. Not because the four singles — “Figure It Out” with Nas and Kanye West, “Lockjaw” with Kodak Black, “Said N Done” with A$AP Rocky, and “No Shopping” with Drake — had the buzz of a dying hornet. Nope, it was samples.
Anyways, the show must go on and French is doing so with a video for the Harry Fraud-produced “Brick Road.”
Check it out above and, if you don’t already have the album, pre-order MC4 on iTunes before it’s new October 14th release.
