Cipha Sounds is not only one of the most respected names in New York rap, but his impact and influence extends across the pond, too. Just ask London-based filmmaker Nathan Miller, who put together this documentary celebrating the life and career of the beloved DJ, podcast host and comedian.
The 20-minute film follows Ciph’s journey at Hot 97, his A&R days at labels like Rawkus and Roc-A-Fella, co-hosting the Juan Epstein podcast, joining Roc Nation and his budding career in comedy. The documentary features interviews with those who know him best, including Peter Rosenberg, Laura Stylez and DJ Drewski.
