After years of advancing through the ranks and earning over listeners with his unvarnished, gritty street speaking, Ghostface600 now drops the R&Drill track “Dragon Tattoo.”
Following the recent release of “Blue Mat,” “Dragon Tattoo” displays a gentle, sensitive side and includes female vocalist DXINX. The self-described “rapper with melodies” and founder of Wave-Drill slows it way down over a sophisticated, dramatic production, giving the record a ballad air with the contrasted female chorus over piano notes.
Together with Kirx Diaz, Ghostface600 directed the video. A continuation of the dark theme, albeit less so in terms of the lyrics this time around, but more so in terms of the visuals, which were shot at night with an elegant twist and featured a piano, as well as Ghostface600 donning his mask for some of the video after recently baring his face in the previous visual “Super Freak.”
With every new album, Ghostface600 displays a new aspect of his craft and expands the scope of his sound, taking his career to new heights.
