H.E.R. Performs For NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk Concert’

H.E.R. capped off a breakout year in 2018 as she was recognized by The Recording Academy, receiving five GRAMMY nominations last week. The 21-year-old earned nods in major categories like Album Of The Year and Best New Artist. In between her current North American tour, the R&B singer stopped by NPR headquarters for an intimate Tiny Desk performance. Backed by her band that included background singers, H.E.R. delivered a beautiful 18-minute set of the songs “Going (Interlude),” “Feel A Way,” “Hard Place”
and “Focus.”
