Following months of teasing rising artist Highlyy releases her debut single ‘Soldier’, and it’s the perfect introduction to the 18-year-old Essex based singer-songwriter.
Proudly recognising her Congolese heritage from the get-go, Highlyy sings in both English, French and Yoruba on the infectious afrobeats track, which she has been teasing on TikTok since early May. Highlyy also recruits North London’s Tion Wayne to lends a few bars to the track, adding another dimension with his signature melodic style of rap.
