Multi-hyphenate artist .idk. returns with his powerful new single “S.T.F”, a high-energy collaboration with Kaytranada and the late hip-hop legend DMX — out now. The track arrives alongside a cinematic video directed by Ella Ezeike, showcasing .idk.’s trademark creative edge and raw intensity.
Premiered earlier this month during LeBron James’ Forever King Tour in Shanghai, “S.T.F” marks the first posthumous DMX collaboration officially approved by the Estate of Earl “DMX” Simmons. It stands as a tribute to the late icon’s spirit and his long-time creative connection with .idk., who previously featured DMX on his acclaimed projects Is He Real and USee4Yourself.
Speaking on the release, .idk. explains, “I found an old Kaytranada beat I’d once passed on — and immediately imagined X’s voice on it. When I got the verse back, it was like fate.”
