J. Cole’s new album 4 Your Eyez Only is set to make a big splash. Released last week on Dec. 9 via Dreamville/Roc Nation, the Dreamville rapper’s fifth solo album is expected to debut No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart when the tracking week ends on Dec. 15. According to industry forecasters, 4 Your Eyez Onlyis projected to move a staggering 550,000 equivalent album units (360,000 to 380,000 traditional album sales) opening week.
It will mark J. Cole’s fourth No. 1 album, his biggest sales week ever, and become the third-highest selling album of 2016 only behind Drake’s VIEWS and Beyoncé’s LEMONADE. Over the weekend, the first announced projections for Cole World’s new project was an estimated 400k-500k in equivalent album units.
