J. Cole easily is the most kind-hearted rapper we can think of and an old friend of his just re-confirmed the popular opinion. Taking to Facebook, Matt Starks, who reportedly is high school soccer coach and was close with Jermaine in high school, told a fascinating story from his homecoming concert last week.
Starks wrote Cole gave him and his wife “extremely good seats” for the gig. Out of curiosity, he decided to ask the girl next to him how much she paid for her seat, but learned that Jermaine flew her down from New Jersey to attend the show without charging her anything. She also shared both her parents are in prison and she had no one to rely on until she penned a letter to Cole. The rapper had promised to come to her high school graduation only if she agreed to attend a four year university and later paid her books and tuition.
What Starks didn’t know is the girl’s name is Cierra Bosarge and the world already knows about her friendship with Jermaine and his generous acts. Nevertheless, his story is magnificent.
