Jack White, from the indie rock group The White Stripes, is head of the label Third Man Records and they have announced the imminent release of a vinyl box set of Jay Z‘s Magna Carta Holy Grail album on March 20th after fans having to wait a total of two years for the product. The box set, judging by the accompanying promotional video that we have under this article, looks as though it could well be worth the wait, coming with eight 7″ 45 RPM records held in a binder designed by Brian Roettinger.
Those who know the name may also know that he is responsible for designing the cover for MCHG. Jay Z – the future owner of Aspiro? – and Jack White may be a strange partnership, but it seems to have worked this time. Although many will want the set, few will unfortunately be able to purchase it.
There will only be 1000 of them made available and each one will be numbered. In the video below, the box is opened and all of its features highlighted and explained. Do you want to be one of the 1000?
