Jareth follows up the release of her 2018 EP with a new Gent Mason featured track “Amber” in anticipation for her forthcoming EP ‘Fire In The Soul.’
Haven lent her vocals to some of the industries finest, London-based singer-songwriter, Jareth goes on a solo ride this time on the infectious new track “Amber.” The new single’s pulsating beat and hypnotic vocal loops make for the perfect backdrop in this dreamlike collaboration with London songwriter Gent Mason and producer Karl Zine (JVCK JAMES). Further cementing Jareth’s undeniable talent for fusing blissful melodies with lyrical poetry, the forthcoming EP, ‘Fire In The Soul’, is set to take her music to new heights.
Jareth’s velvet smooth vocal instantly draws you in from the first few notes of ‘Amber’ and keeps hold as an electric piano pattern enters with the recurring twinkle of a music box. Based on the idea of ‘being in love feeling like you’re trapped in amber, the way it can feel like it’s going to last forever and every detail seems preserved in your memory’, producer Karl Zine perfectly emphasises the hazy atmosphere with loose percussion and pitch-shifted vocals. Jareth and Gent Mason take turns as they sing fondly of a love gone by, gently riding the wave of the track with their delicate soul as subtle embellishments come and go. ‘There are worse materials to be stuck in for love. Some people are in tar. Others are in sand. At least I cn be seen in your amber.’ This is the start of a bold new chapter for Jareth, and with more new music on the horizon, ‘Amber’ makes for a thrilling snapshot of what’s to come from the forthcoming EP.
