Jay Prince is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated debut album, Shine, arriving May 16th. To mark the announcement, the London-born artist has unveiled his latest single, “Solitude”, featuring GRAMMY-winning icon Estelle and renowned rapper-producer Oddisee.
The track, inspired by Jay’s years in L.A., blends smooth R&B, jazz-infused hip-hop, and live instrumentation. Introduced to Estelle by Daniel Kaluuya, Jay crafts a timeless record where her velvety vocals complement Oddisee’s sharp lyricism and dynamic production.
Reflecting on Shine, Jay shares:
“It’s been six years since my last body of work. A lot has changed, and I’ve grown as both a man and an artist. This album is about self-discovery—recognizing your light, embracing it, and sharing it with the world.”
