Its been nearly three years since the release of Jay Rock’s last studio album, 90059. The Watts MC appears to be the next artist from the powerful Top Dawg Entertainment camp to put out a new project. The campaign for Jay Rock started earlier this year, earning his highest charting record to-date with “King’s Dead,” a song that peaked at No. 21 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. The TDE spitter now returns with his victorious new single “Win.” Backed by the triumphant sounds of Vinylz and Boi-1da, Jay Rock is unapologetic on the record which features ad-libs by Kendrick Lamar. The track comes a few weeks after TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith teased the album’s arrival in the near future and its possible title being Redemption.
