JAY-Z unleashes new video for“BAM” featuring Damian Marley “BAM”
Beyoncé started the day off by sharing the first photo of newborn twins Sir and Rumi Carter. As Friday winds down, JAY-Z ends the day off by premiering the music video for “BAM,” a track off his newly released 4:44album. Following videos for “The Story of O.J.” and “4:44,” the Roc Nation mogul heads down to the Caribbean, where he connects with Damian Marley.
Marley serves as tour guide, moving through the streets of Kingston, Jamaica with the Roc Nation mogul. During the trip, Jay takes in the culture, while learning about the vibrant country’s history and heritage. In the six-minute clip, viewers watch as JAY-Z and Damian Marley record “Bam” inside the legendary Tuff Gong Studio. Sister Nancy, whose 1982 classic “Bam Bam” is sampled on the song, also provides commentary in the music video along with engineer extraordinaire Young Guru.
