Jeezy says he’s “grown up” and has thus dropped the “Young” from his moniker.
There was some talk of Jeezy dropping the “Young” from his name a few years back, when the artwork for “Lose My Mind” listed him simply as “Jeezy”. Whether or not it was an aesthetic choice, or something Jeezy backed out of, the talk died down when his subsequent singles bore the full “Young Jeezy” moniker once again.
According to the rapper, he’s now officially going through with the change, citing that he’s “grown up now”.
The CTE rapper made the announcement on RapFix Live earlier today.
