Brooklyn artist J.I. revisits the latest installment of his mixtape trilogy, Hood Life Krisis Vol. 3 for the new visual to the powerful yet vulnerable track “Calling Out 2 You (Intro).”
The visual directed by Kid Art draws inspiration from “The Last Supper.” With his bars he paints the picture of hitting rock bottom and rising above life’s harsh obstacles and those who doubted him. We see the newcomer celebrating with those who mean the most to him as a crowning achievement of the hustle and grind he’s had to face. Of the track J.I. shares “A lot of people doubted be when I was griding to better for myself. I’m proud to be in the spot I’m in now.” Watch below
