JID and Lil Yachty’s new song “Van Gogh” has arrived, complete with a music video.
The Georgian pair, who go by the moniker “the Blakkboyz,” showcase their vocal prowess over Cardo’s production in a stylish music video.
Lil Boat raps, “I got the gun in my lap near the abdomen / I took a break, but they want me to rap again / Bro just got out and he already trap again, back at his craft again,” as JID echoes him.
To paraphrase, “The hardest thing for me is staying composed / ‘Cause killing shit is really all that I know / Funeral goes, casket closed / The choir sings, the pastor goes.”
Coming off their upcoming album Blakkboyz, JID and Lil Yachty’s “Van Gogh” follows their previously released “Half Doin’ Dope” featuring BabyTron.
