With a new single out as a part of the mighty Dipset collective, Jim Jones paid a visit to HOT 97’s Ebro In The Morning this week. The Harlem MC spoke with the crew on The Diplomats recent reunion for a Spotify concert in NYC, doubters saying their latest reunion is for the money, Ma$e and Cam’ron’s recent beef, A$AP Mob’s rise and their recent Calvin Klein campaign, being a fashion trendsetter with rock influenced looks, acting on Irv Gotti’s BET series Tales, and evolving from Dipset’s enforcer to an artist and now businessman.
On the music side, Jim Jones revealed The Diplomats will drop a video for “Once Upon a Time” next week along with another new record. The group is planning to release a docu-series and EP called 7 Day Theory, which Jones says a rollout possibly with begin in February. Wiz Khalifa, 2 Chainz, 808 Mafia, Heatmakerz, and Jadakiss are some of the names Jim Jones states have reached out to be a part of the EP and their Diplomatic Immunity 3 album.
