Following up on his recent video release for single Frnds, rapper Jordan YV has now unveiled the official visuals for current single Mind The Gap.
Having recently bought his own recording equipment the song came together organically while in a home session with his producer JavvyLuu. It is creatively narrating the experiences of being a young North Londoner living in South London by depicting the different yet not too vast gap of influence after all between these two areas.
“The message is mainly evident in the hook. By telling listeners ‘I got something on my chest and I need to let it go’ I’m pointing out the liberation of being self-conscious.”
The JavvyLuu-filmed visuals, cleverly shot on London Underground brilliantly showcase the mood of Mind The Gap by strongly contrasting and showcasing strong colours, creating a rather hazy vibe with its blurry interludes.
