Croydon rapper/songwriter Jords steps out with a new track titled ‘Working Too Hard.’
Already picking up heat on social media, Jords, a Croydon rapper and songwriter earned his emerging stripes by combining an immediate lyrical talent with inventive production and emotional, thought-provoking concepts. He now comes through with his new release ‘Working Too Hard’ and reminds London just why he’s being rated so highly.
His sound is a remarkably fresh take on the genre that conjures comparisons to the likes of J Cole, Wretch 32 or Travis Scott in terms of the smooth R&B instrumental invention and flawless, matter-of-fact tone and lyrical content. Releasing his debut album “Means To An Ends” in September 2016 led to further invitations to sessions at Sofar Sounds and The Mahogany Sessions – not your usual fare for a London rapper – and a debut, sold-out headline show at Camden Assembly in early 2017.
