Just two days after announcing his forthcoming new album Man of the Woods, Justin Timberlake returns with its first single. On the track titled “Filthy,” J.T. links up long-time collaborators Timbaland and Danja, who handle the production. The track also comes with an accompanying music video, directed by Mark Romanek. In the VEVO premiere, Timberlake channels the Steve Jobs, hosting a learning conference in Malaysia that soon turns into a dancing robot entertaining a crowd.
“This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family. But more so than any other album I’ve ever written, where I’m from,” the Memphis native said in a trailer released earlier this week. “It’s personal.” Man of the Woods is set to arrive on Feb. 2, two days before Justin headlines Pepsi’s Super Bowl LII halftime show on Feb. 4, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN. Get “Filthy” when you pre-order the 16-track album on iTunes and watch the music video below.
