Following on from his highly-praised single ‘Loco’ earlier this year, fast-rising Reading-based rapper K.Kayne has now returned to deliver his pulsing and heartfelt new single ‘Writing Stage’.
Continuing the same smooth and breezy R&B-inspired groove he is known for, ‘Writing Stage’ sees the artist in a more contemplative guise. With his rich and distinctive flow riding a atmospheric and progressive production throughout, he looks to make his mark as one of the more thought-provoking MCs rising up the ranks today.
Speaking about the new track, he said, “Writing Stage was written after a week of writer’s block. I had ideas about being stuck in the writing stage, but realise that you’re always in one when writing. This was my first song with more painful lyrics about difficult things in life.”
