Kanye West is set to release his new album Jesus in King this month on Sept. 26th which is surely inspired by the Church. But until then, he seems determined to carry on his Sunday Service series every week.
The latest edition of the service was held in Watts, California on Sunday, Sept. 1 where Brad Pitt was a surprise guest. The two were seen in photos smiling at each other and sharing a moment.

But the most unexpected moment during the service was the rapper and his choir remixing Drake’s verse on Travis Scott’s number 1 hit ‘Sicko Mode’ for a heavenly version. The lyrics were Gospel and aimed at praising Jesus. Kanye wasn’t singing the verse himself but could be seen jumping up and down to it, dressed in a green sweatshirt and shades. Watch the clip below.
This is an interesting development, given the history between Drake and Kanye, especially in regard to this particular song. Kanye believes Drizzy sneak dissed him on the track with lines like “I still got scores to settle, man I crept down the block,” “N*ggas think it’s sweet, it’s on sight,” and “Jesus Christ, checks over stripes. That’s what I like.”
He had even dragged Travis for allowing Drake to rap such lyrics on a song. As we know, Travis has a business deal with Kanye’s label G.O.O.D. Music and is also in a serious relationship with ‘Ye’s sister-in-law, Kylie Jenner.

We hope this is a step in the right direction of squashing everything and moving on. Kim Kardashian was also present during the Sunday Service in Watts, and she shared some more covers on her Twitter:
