Kendrick Lamar unveils the epic video for “HUMBLE.,” the presumed first single off his third major label studio album.
All signs point to a new Kendrick Lamar album arriving next week. After warning the competition on “The Heart Part 4″, the TDE MC comes through with its fiery follow-up in “HUMBLE.” Along with the intense song produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, King Kendrick connects with director Dave Meyers (Missy Elliott, OutKast) to create a three-minute cinematic visual premiered on VEVO.
In the artistic clip, Kendrick umps from various scenes including a recreation of Leonardo da Vinci’s classic “The Last Supper” to a beauty salon. The Compton native is seen being chauffeured in and old school car through Los Angeles, and at one point lights his own head on fire.
Due April 7, Kendrick Lamar’s third studio LP will serve as a follow-up to 2015’s To Pimp a Butterfly. Watch “HUMBLE.” below.
