Berlin-based production collective KITSCHKRIEG and London-born singer-songwriter Dré Six are gearing up to release their collaborative album London’s Calling, set to drop this April. The announcement arrives alongside the album’s bold title track, featuring Southeast London rapper 163Margs.
Blending Rap, Trap, Drill, R&B, Drum & Bass, and Reggae, London’s Calling is shaping up to be a genre-defying masterpiece. The 11-track project boasts a heavyweight lineup of UK rap talent, including Unknown T, Morrison, and 163Margs, promising a raw, authentic sound with KITSCHKRIEG’s signature minimalist aesthetic.
The title track was born out of fate—Dré Six was set to return home, but a canceled flight left him with two extra days in Germany. That time led to the creation of what would become the album’s defining song, pulsing with the grit and energy of London. 163Margs brings his unmistakable drill sound, seamlessly bridging genres while adding his signature edge to the track.
Dré Six, known for his introspective storytelling and acoustic-infused R&B, has earned the nickname ‘Trap Sheeran’, and this project showcases his sonic evolution, venturing into bold new styles.
With the album’s first single, Mad About You already making waves, London’s Calling is set to be a standout moment for both KITSCHKRIEG and Dré Six.
