North London talent Kiwii Icee delivers her brand new sultry offering dubbed ‘Pills’ featuring Kelly Koka & Livita J.
The single takes the listener on a journey of being hooked onto something so bittersweet and ‘Pills’ ain’t the treat. The change of flows and hypnotic beat gives the listener a snippet of what Kiwii will bring to the scene. Kelly Koka and Livita J also help add a clean flavour to the wavy new single.
Kiwii is not an outright rapper or a singer but sees herself as a creative vessel. Growing up she listened to a wide range of music, stemming from a big family from Nirvana to Prince and Erykah Badu to Biggie Smalls; her love of intricate sounds in production as well as vocally drives her acquired music style. But the real addiction started when her brother gave his first IPod when she was 11 and she studied the discography of Kanye West, the metaphors of Kid Cudi and The Weeknd’s famous trilogy – From there she knew it wasn’t just about music it’s the whole process to the art. Her fast raps and soft tones are in the likes of her love for Young Thug and her luring lyrics is her pulling an alternative rnb sound back into the midst.
Kiwii is also apart of the music collective 5144 where every mood and sound gets created. Listen to ‘Pills” below…
